Irish Sea Moss is a natural superfood rich in potassium chloride, a valuable nutrient that helps to dissolve catarrhs (inflammation and phlegm in the mucous membranes) and inflammation. SEA MOSS GEL
1.) Place 1 cup ofWildcrafted Raw Irish Sea Moss (Whole)in a large strainer and wash thoroughlyto rid the sea moss of all debris.
2.)Place the sea moss in a bowl of clean water and cover for 15-20 minutes, then drain the water.
3.) Boil two-quarts (8cups)of spring water for approximately 5 minutes.
4.) Turn the burner down to a lower setting and addsea moss.Allow to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
5.) Remove from burner and allow to cool. Transfer the contents to a blender and mix until smooth.
6.) Transfer the gel into a mason jar and store in the refrigerator for 2- 3 weeks.You can also freeze batches of Sea Moss Gel for extended use.
